International design festival in Dnepropetrovsk
 
This festival is the showcase of the world-class design talent.
 
The VI international design festival will take place in Dnepropetrovsk on November 12 - 24, 2009.
 
The place is Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum (21, Shevchenko Street, Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine), art-centre “Kvartira” (3-1, Krasnaya place Street, Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine)

You are welcome to visit the festival. If your company is interested in this audience and this branch development, we encourage you to support the festival as a partner, friend or sponsor (any form of festival support is possible). If you are interested, we will provide the festival’s advertising and media resources for you.
 
Ukrainian designers and architects will take part in the festival: Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev, Cherkassy, Donetsk, Nikolayev, Lutsk, Pavlograd, Zaporozhe, Lvov, Ternopol, Sevastopol, Odessa, and Kharkov.

Foreign designers: Portugal, Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Iran, Korea, China, France, England, Israel, Brazil, Italy, Finland, Canada, USA.
Various professional designers, artists, design-studios, architect bureaus, advertising companies and students ` works will be exhibited to the visitors.

The festival will take place under the aegis of: Dnepropetrovsk art museum, Art-center “Kvartira”, Dnepropetrovsk City Council Family and Youth Administration.
 
Ukrainian graphic designers Union“4-th block” (Kharkov), Maximum, Ukrainian design album “Diesel”, magazines “Zerkalo reklamy”, “Reklama&Design”, “Aphisha”, “Art   deadline”,  “Art Ukraine”.
 
According to the festival president Elena Baranovska, the festival’s main aim is to “promote designer profession and open new doors: to  the designers for the purpose of exchanging experience, communicating and growing professionally; to  the students for the purpose of growing and learning; to everybody for the purpose of getting new contacts inside and outside their professional environment.  The festival is the showcase of the world-class design talent.”
 
The festival jury: Oleg Veklenko – Honored Art Worker, professor of Kharkov art and design Academy, member and laureate of various national and international exhibitions, president of the International triennial  ecology placard “4 block”; Viktor Aphonin, Mikhail Pantus, Yuri Basarenko.
The festival program includes: participants’ works exhibition, students competitions, master- class by the jury, project “Doctor Wells’ genetic experiments”
 
The festival organizers: Dnepropetrovsk branch of Ukrainian designers’ Union, design –studio “Baranovska”. Co-organizers: company “Motive”; creative studio “Pink panther”
